Eid celebrations aren’t complete without dressing your festive best. If you are still undecided about what to wear, look no further than these Bollywood celebrities for fashion inspo. From regal monochrome outfits and asymmetrical fits, to statement footwear and accessories, here are some fashion statements to take cue from.
Regal monochrome:
Wearing a single tone, just like Karishma Kapoor, will make you look elegant, whether your choice of colour is emerald, royal blue, maroon, or ivory. You can opt for silk, organza, georgette, or even cotton, keeping the summer heat in mind.
Rich embroidery:
Whether its chikankari, zardozi, or gota patti, traditional hand-embroidered pieces never get old. Go for a detailed embroidered kurta or kaftan like Kareena Kapoor, or a heavily embroidered dupatta. Keep your jewellery minimal to let the handwork do the talking.

Shararas and ghararas:
These flared beauties bring in a feminine-yet-fun touch. Pair an embroidered sharara with a simple kurta for balance, or go all out with a statement gharara set. Mrunal Thakur’s ivory set would make for a good Eid dawat look.
For men:
From Pathani suits in earthy tones like charcoal and olive, to minimalist sherwanis in festive tones like maroon and purple, paired with simple straight-fit pants or churidars, to asymmetrical kurtas paired with slim-fit trousers or dhoti pants; the options for men are plenty. Don’t shy away from choosing hand-embroidered clothes, or those with subtle embellishments. Take Siddharth Malhotra and Vicky Kaushal for instance.

Whether it’s an embroidered jacket over a plain kurta, a stole, or bundi, layering your outfit will add depth to your look, without making you look over the top. Take cue from Vedant Raina.

Accessorise it right:

From chaandbaalis to oversized jhumkas, statement earrings are a must. You can even layer necklaces, just like Kriti Sanon.Think delicate gold chains, or a choker paired with a longer polki or meenakari pendant. Haathphools, kadas, and hair accessories like embellished pins, and matha pattis can be good additions too.
